Options Trader

SG3 Capital focuses on US listed options and other asset classes in the broader financial markets and is seeking an options trader, who will report directly to the Fund Manager. This is a small, fast paced company and the position will allow the right individual to make an immediate contribution to the firm. The office we are hiring for is in Puerto Rico, and as such, the candidate must be in PR or willing to relocate.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, integrity, and interest in going above and beyond with a passion for learning new things and working efficiently. The candidate should also be able to work independently and productively with little supervision when necessary, although there will be a steep learning curve at the beginning.

​

Required Experience:

  • 1-5 years experience as an options trader at a top options or derivatives focused firm (prop trading firm, market making firm, or hedge fund) is required.

  • Java, JS, Python, or other coding expertise is a plus.

  • Any experience with automated trading or market-making systems is a plus.

  • Candidate must have ability to quickly learn and adapt to new situations.

 

This position has plenty of upward mobility for the right person. Cultural and environmental fit is also very important as this is a small team-based firm. Salary is negotiable and will be structured as a base + bonus, where the performance bonus is a significant part of compensation.
